M7 Bayonet & Knuckle Duster Handle

The M7 Bayonet, introduced into service in 1964, was issued to US troops during the Vietnam War for use on the Colt M16A1. While looking for reference photos I came across some bayonets that had an aluminum knuckleduster handle, so I decided to make one of those as well. I am unsure of its history as there is so much contradictory information about it.
